New Identity Revealed for The Industrial Group

 

The Industrial Group announced the launch of a new logo and a refreshed brand identity as part of its progressive corporate agenda and forward-thinking mindset.

‘Our business has grown and evolved over the last 60 years, and we felt it was time to translate our transformation with a new look and brand image. The last time we created a logo was in 1980 when our Chairman and CEO started his first full time job at the Group running our Jeddah based consumer packaging business and it was then that our Chairman felt that developing and launching a new logo would usher to the whole company the beginning of a new chapter. The new look was welcomed and received the consent and blessing of our late Founder and then Chairman Sheikh Ali Al-Banawi, may he rest in peace. Our Group has traveled a long way since then. We now have a new logo that reflects who we are, where we are heading with our ambitious future plans.’ said Marwa Kaabour, Director, Marketing and Corporate Communications at the Group.

After thorough and thoughtful consideration, and working with external branding specialists, the Group designed a logo that captures the Group’s strengths and nimbleness through an icon that depicts a spider web surrounded by a frame made of elements that highlights the Group’s diversity in the businesses it operates.

The new logo was launched with a comprehensive brand manual that outlines the brand’s attributes, proposition and rules of the new brand applications.

‘We are confident that this new identity will capture our Group’s collective aspirations and will endorse the Group’s tagline ‘Adding Value All The Way”. We have full trust our stakeholders will find it a unique and an innovative reflection of the essence of our Group as many internal and external stakeholders have found it to be.’ added Kaabour.
